DODA, Nov 26: In a meeting here today, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta reviewed law and order along with men and machinery at District Police Lines, Doda.
The meeting was attended by senior Police officers including Additional SP Hqrs Doda, Addl. SP PC Doda, DySP Hqrs. Doda and key personnel.
The SSP focused on the current security situation, operational readiness and the effectiveness of law enforcement in maintaining peace and order within the district.
During session, SSP Doda emphasized the importance of maintaining strict vigilance and ensuring prompt response to any emerging security challenges. He directed officers to enhance their coordination with other security agencies and continue to foster strong community-Police relations to ensure public safety.
The SSP also stressed on the need for regular training programs to improve the skills of cops in dealing with various law enforcement challenges including crowd control, counter-insurgency operations and law enforcement in sensitive areas.
“Ensuring the safety and security of the public is our top priority. We must remain vigilant and proactive in addressing any potential threats while upholding the rule of law,” the SSP stated.
The review also included the inspection of law and order equipments, which were displayed in DPL and discussions were held on strengthening crowd control capabilities, improving law and order strengths and enhancing the training programmes with all sister agencies.
