DODA, Feb 5: SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta here today visited far-flung villages and held an interactive meeting in Kastigarh area which was attended by prominent persons of the area and adjoining places.
DySP Hqrs Doda, Ajay Kumar and DySP PC Kastigarh, Pankaj Kumar accompanied the SSP.
During meeting, a patient hearing was given by SSP Doda to the demands of locals and they were assured that issues related to Police would be resolved on priority and demands pertaining to other departments will be taken up with the concerned for appropriate action.
SSP Doda, urged upon the participants to maintain brotherhood, communal harmony and cooperate Police by providing inputs regarding movement of anti-national elements, drug peddlers, drug addiction, bovine smuggling, timber smuggling and other criminal activities if they notice these in their neighborhood.
A general awareness was also given to the participants regarding New Criminal Laws, online fraud, cheating, traffic rules, bovine smuggling, hazardous affects of drugs, liquor etc.
The participants assured their full cooperation and support to Police in eradicating the menace of drugs and other criminal activities from the society.
