SSK organizes Shardhanjali program for martyrs of 1947-48

JAMMU, Jan 19: A Shardhanjali program for the martyrs of 1947-48 organized by Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (SSK), Anand Nagar Bohri, was held here today.
Program started with Shanthipaath and deep prajolan by chief guest and guests of honor.
Maj Gen Dr Vir Kumar Bhat paid homage to martyrs and families which suffered a lot during the turmoil.
He also recited the poem written by Lt Sh Jawar Lal Bhat.
Other guest of honour P N Shad Sahab also spoke about turmoil of Kashmiri Pandits and enthralled audience by a poem on martyrs (Saman to Martyrs).
K N Pandita (Padam Shree) encouraged to children face administrative exams and be part of discussion making body.
Dr Arvind Karwani (RCM), who was also the chief guest spoke about different issues of Community and that we should learn from this turmoil and never repeat mistakes again.
SSK has been highlighting these unsung martyrs from last 18 years, so that the sacrifices of the martyrs are not unnoticed.

Program was conducted by Sunil and vote of thanks was presented by Mahraj Krishan.
