JAMMU, Sept 11: The Management Committee of Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir (SSCMM), Jammu has appealed for public support in the ongoing construction of a temple complex at Dhammi in Nagrota area.
A statement issued by the temple committee said that a grand temple is being constructed at Dhammi to provide facilities to pilgrims visiting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi throughout the year and to yatris during the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The temple complex will include accommodation facilities and free langars for devotees, it said.
The temple committee further said that currently the construction of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatri Bhawan on about 12,000 square feet of the land at the temple site is underway.
Emphasizing the importance of community participation, the committee urged people to extend material and financial support to help complete the project.
The committee also appealed philanthropists of the region to help them complete the project at the earliest.
