Srinagar, Oct 1: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) officer today shot himself dead with his service rifle in Dignibal area of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
Inspector Guti Lal (No:12070015) of 13 BN SSB shot himself dead with his service rifle around 9:45 am at Dignibal camp today. It is not known why he committed suicide.
Police have registered a case and conducted postmortem of the body and started further investigation.
