DODA, Jan 16: As per the directions of MHA, 7th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Jammu organized a Bharat Darshan Tour for 30 youths of Doda and Jammu districts.
The tour was flagged off by Shri Prakash, Commandant, Sector Headquarters (Special Ops), Jammu in the presence of Achyut Singh, Commandant, 7th Battalion SSB, along with other senior officers.
This is the third such exposure tour being organized by the 7th Battalion SSB Jammu for youths selected from the remote and far-flung areas of Doda and Jammu districts. Under this initiative, the participants will visit educational and historical places in Hyderabad and New Delhi.
As part of the programme, the youths will travel by aircraft, train and bus, thereby getting an opportunity to experience different modes of transportation and gain broader exposure.
During the tour, free accommodation, transportation and all other necessary facilities will be arranged by SSB. In addition, the participants have been provided with tracksuits, shoes, bags and caps. The youths conveyed their gratitude to SSB for organizing this valuable and enriching experience.
