SRTC XI, DFA Anantnag script wins in 24th State Football C’ship

SRINAGAR, Mar 14: Jammu and Kashmir SRTC XI and District Football Association (DFA) Anantnag XI registered victories over their rivals  in the ongoing 24th State Football Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the first match, J&K SRTC XI defeated DFA Kupwara by four goals to nil (4-0). For JK SRTC, Jibran scored the 1st and 2nd goal, while Shafqat and Rayees pelted 3rd and 4th goals respectively.
In match another match of the day played between DFA Anantnag and Pattan XI, former defeated latter by four goals to two (4-2). Scorers for Anantnag were Aqib Javeed, who netted the 2 splendid goals, while Adnan Manzoor  and Tariq Reshi scored one goal each. For Pattan XI, Tariq and Umer scored one goal each.
In tomorrow’s fixture, DFA Sopore will take on Ganderbal XI at 2 pm, while DFA Baramulla XI will lock horns with F&S XI (CA&PD) at 3:30 pm.
