JAMMU, Mar 17: A deputation of J&K SRTC Workers Union led by Chander Mohan Sharma, senior leader BJP, Mohammad Yousuf Sufi, MLC BJP and Mehraj Din, Chairman of the Union met Transport Minister Abdul Gani Kohli and apprised him about the problems being faced by the workers of JKSRTC.
During the meeting, discussion about the problems like enhancement of budgetary support, regularization of consolidated workers, SRO-43, second phase of JnNURM busses, release of pending DA and induction of new fleet was made.
Minister gave patient hearing to the problems of workers and assured that after the budget session, all the genuine demands would be conceded and no stone shall be left unturned to uplift the Corporation.
Among others present were Didar Singh, Vice Chairman, Pawan Sharma, Chaman Raina, Kewal Krishan, Manjeet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Mohinder Singh, Mohammad Ashraf Sayed, Zahid Hussain, Jan Mohammad, Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Ashraf, Deepak Abrol and Gurdeep Singh Cheema.
