JAMMU, Oct 7: A demonstration of ALL J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association was held under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali, president VRS Union outside Press Club, today.
The protesters criticised the State Government for its step motherly treatment towards the VRS/GHS employees of J&K SRTC and said that their dues have not been released till date which are pending for last over six years.
They also demanded implementation of Sixth Pay Commission and Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) arrears which were pending since long.
They have appealed Chief Minister to personally intervene and release their dues at the earliest.
