SRS lambasts Govt for extending duration of BEd Course

JAMMU, June 11: Lambasting the State Government for throbbing discrimination with Jammu region in every sphere, Shri Ram Sena (SRS) State president, Rajiv Mahajan said that it (State Government) has not even spared the education sector in Jammu division.
In a press release issued here today, Mahajan said, “While as the course of B Ed in Kashmir division is of one year, the authorities have extended the duration of B Ed course to 2 years in Jammu division”.
He said it is strange that two different yardsticks are being used in education sector in the State.
He also criticized the Government for not introducing the courses of Mass Communication and Fine Arts in Jammu University till date.
He appealed the Governor (Chancellor of JU and KU), Chief Minister (Pro-Chancellor of JU and KU) and the Minister for Higher Education Nayeem Akhtar and MoS Education Priya Sethi to immediately look into the matter and stop discrimination with Jammu people.
