JAMMU, June 22: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has expressed serious concern over delaying elections of Government and Non Government Organisations besides Clubs and Sabhas after completion of their tenure.
In a press statement issued here, today SRS State president, Rajiv Mahajan appealed to the Governor to immediately dissolve the organisations, Clubs and Sabhas, whose tenure is over and order fresh elections to these bodies by giving a grace time of one month.
He also demanded that till the fresh elections are held there should be code of conduct in working of these organizations as after the completion of tenure, continue with same team is unconstitutional and also unjustified.
Mahajan claimed that after completion of tenure, decisions taken by both Government and Non Government Organisations, Clubs and Sabhas should be treated as null and void and also when there is no law and order problem or any other problem to conduct these elections. Halting these elections is injustice with those who wait for elections to prove their point with innovative ideas besides it is also against the Constitution, he added.
