JAMMU, June 20: Reiterating its demand of separate Public Service Commission (PSC) for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), flayed the State Government for continuing discrimination against the educated youth of Jammu and Ladakh regions.
Talking to reporters here today, SRS State president, Rajiv Mahajan, said that highly biased nature of selections had shaken the faith of the educated youth of the region in the present dispensation as well as in recruitment agencies including PSC and SSB.
He slammed BJP for putting Jammu’s interests and development subservient to the pleasure of Kashmir based political party for remaining stuck to power. Mahajan said that for the past two and half years of BJP-PDP dispensation, Jammu has been the worst sufferer of discrimination at the hands of Kashmir dominant rulers.
Asking that first time in the history BJP got a massive mandate in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections, Rajiv Mahajan alleged that despite having 25 BJP MLAs youth of Jammu region are facing discrimination in all spheres.
He said Jammuites elected BJP leaders with the hope that they will end the discrimination with Jammu region but all the hopes of Jammuites went in vain. He alleged that blue eyed candidates were being recruited by the PSC at the instance of State Government causing resentment among the unemployment youth.
He drew attention towards nominal share to Jammu candidates for the post of Assistant Professors, recently released by the PSC and asked the Government to rectify the same.
