SR College conducts workshop for IAS / JKAS aspirants

JAMMU, Nov 5: SR College of Competitions (SRCC) conducted workshop to guide the Civil Services aspirants looking for the suitable optional subjects by holding workshops for Urdu by Arshad, Anthropology by Zeeshan Ali, Zoology by Illka Hassan and Public Administration by Gautam Kumar.
The statement said the expert subject faculty engaged by the college, covered different aspects related to syllabus. They explained ways and means to prepare for the optional in minimum possible time. All the aspects including the scheme and pattern of the exam, approach for the optional subject, sources of study material, the books required and writing test series were covered comprehensively to the satisfaction of the aspirants with the sole aim to crack the examination.
During the workshop detailed discussions also took place with the participants while answering the queries and clearing the doubts and the kind of questions asked in the previous year’s papers were also taken up in the later part of the workshop. The response to the workshop was overwhelming and the attendees appreciated the initiative taken by the SR College of Competitions.
SR College keeps on organising such online and offline workshops, seminars, webinars and interactions with the IAS officers, JKAS toppers and various subject experts informed Centre Head of SRCC, Praful Sharma. He said the SRCC is about to start a comprehensive test series comprising 22 tests for General Studies and 8 tests for each Optional for Mains examination for JKAS -2023 starting from 16 November 2023 and also exclusive mains batches for JKAS-2023 examination.
