JAMMU, May 18: SR College of Competitions organized a well-received workshop on the optional subject Anthropology for aspirants of the UPSC and JKAS examinations.
The workshop was led by a distinguished faculty member, known for his extensive experience and result-oriented teaching approach in Anthropology.
The session was designed to help aspirants understand the Anthropology syllabus in a systematic and simplified manner. The expert offered a clear roadmap for preparation, covered key themes and topics in detail, and shared an updated list of recommended books, reports, and additional study resources necessary for comprehensive coverage of the subject.
A major highlight of the workshop was the detailed discussion on Previous Years’ Questions (PYQs). Aspirants were trained on how to decode questions, structure their answers effectively, and enhance the quality of their writing. Emphasis was placed on developing conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and aligning responses with the evolving demands of the exam.
The workshop concluded with an interactive doubt-clearing session, where students received personalized guidance and valuable exam-specific tips directly from the expert. Participants appreciated the workshop’s clarity, practical insights, and its student-centric approach.
In addition to subject-specific workshops, SR College is also offering a comprehensive IAS General Studies + CSAT Test Series and a focused JKAS Mains Test Series. The JKAS series includes 18 full-length tests, each followed by detailed discussions and individualized mentorship to help aspirants strengthen their writing and presentation skills. These tests are conducted every Sunday at the college campus.
