Sprawling Buds School donates Rs 1 lakh to VK Welfare Society

JAMMU, Nov 15: Sprawling Buds ICSE School, a unit of Takshila Educational Trust, has donated Rs one lakh to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (VK) Welfare Society, Rajeev Nagar, Jammu.
The contribution will support the Society’s welfare initiatives aimed at uplifting underprivileged families through education, healthcare, and community development programmes.
The function also featured a patriotic ‘Vande Mataram’ presentation by the students, which infused the event with a sense of national pride and cultural unity.
The occasion was graced by several distinguished personalities, including B R Sharma, former chief secretary, Arun Gupta, president, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Rahul Sharma, chairman, Sprawling Buds ICSE School, who attended the function as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the school said, “We believe that education must be rooted in compassion and service. This donation reflects our dedication to contributing meaningfully to society and supporting organizations like Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Welfare Society, which tirelessly works for the welfare of marginalized communities.
