SAMBA, June 20: Police arrested a Special Police Officer (SPO) along with illicit liquor pouches at new bus stand, here today.
As per police spokesman, a team from Samba police station and the sleuths of DSB laid a naka at new bus stand and apprehended a man along with 46 illicit liquor pouches.
The arrested person has been identified as Ganesh Kumar, son of Kunj Lal, a resident of Ward Number 10, district Samba. The accused is working as SPO in District Police Samba.
A case under FIR Number 128/17 has been registered at police station Samba and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Samba Inspector Yash Pal Singh Jamwal made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba Tanveer Ahmed and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
