JAMMU, June 24: Jammu and Kashmir today witnessed spike in COVID cases with 54 persons testing positive for the virus including 35 in Jammu division and 19 in Kashmir.
Among 35 fresh cases in Jammu, 32 were reported from Jammu district, two in Doda and one in Ramban.
Jammu and Kashmir now has 250 active positive cases, 158 of them in Jammu division. Of them, 139 active cases are in Jammu district.
Meanwhile, five new COVID positive cases were reported from the Union Territory of Ladakh, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 35 active positive cases—34 in Leh and one in Kargil.
