SAMBA, Apr 22: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba, organized Inter-School District Level Speedball Championship at Mahavir International School, 17 Miles, Vijaypur here today.
All the five zones participated in the tournament with total number of 83 participants from all over the district.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander Bhardwaj and Gaurav Abrol, Director of M V International School by playing a demo match.
Principal of the School, K L Dogra was also present on the occasion.
In Single Under-17 years, M V International defeated Calvary Mission High School by 2 points, while in Mixed Double Under-17 years, M V International defeated S P Smart School by 4 points and in Double Under-17 years, M V International defeated Vaid Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur by 4 points.
In Single Under-14 years, M V International defeated Govt High School Bari Brahmana by 4 points, while in Double Under-14 years, M V International defeated Little Angle High School by 4 points.
The officials present on occasion were Anirudh Singh Slathia, Raj Singh Chib, Rekha, Kiran Bala, Suman Lata Sharma, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Varinder Sharma and Jyoti.
