Srinagar, Jan 24: The School Education Officer’s Association (SEOA) today urged the Government to speed up the process of regularization of the In-charge Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of the Kashmir Division.
In this regard, a virtual meeting of the district coordinators of the School Education Officer’s Association (I/C ZEO cadre) of the Kashmir division was held to discuss various Issues confronted by the school education officers.
The main focus of the discussion was laid on prolonged delay in the regularization of the I/C ZEO cadre.
“The participants who spoke in the zoom meet expressed satisfaction over the pace of work going on regularization of officers of the department under the dynamic leadership of worthy Principal Secretary School Education Department,” SEOA said.
The participants, as per the SEOA, said that thousands of I/C Lecturers and 10+2 l/C Principals have been regularized since last year.
“Besides services of many CEOs and Joint Directors have been regularized and in case of I/CZ EO’s cadre, vigilance clearance of more than 500 officers of J&K and Ladakh has been received.”
The participants appealed to the Principal Secretary of School Education Department for holding DPC of the cadre at the earliest date so that long pending genuine demand of the cadre gets fulfilled and prolonged unnecessary delay and wait for regularization of hundreds of I/C ZEO’s, since May 2008 is put to an end.
