South Korea says it sees exports improving rest of year from H1

SEOUL, July 1:   South Korea’s trade ministry said it sees exports improving in the second half of the year compared to the first six months as global demand improves moderately and as export prices of key products stabilise. However, exports face downside risks from the Brexit vote, including from increased volatility in global financial markets and slowdown of growth in the European Union, it added. The government said it plans to increase efforts to aid companies that are affected by Brexit in the future. (AGENCIES)
