JAMMU, Apr 13: A deputation of Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees Association (SOSDEA) led by its president, Babu Hussain Malik, met Minister for Health & Medical Education, ARI & Stationery, Lal Singh, and apprised him of burning demands of the employees.
The demands included opening of Sub-Stationery Depots in the newly created eight districts of the State, Amendment in the SRO-365 by issuing combined seniority list of Ministerial cadre and Executive cadre on the pattern of previous SRO-405 in the department.
The deputation also demanded creation of posts of Section Officer and Head Assistant at provincial level and re-designation of the post of Deputy Superintendent as Assistant Director at district level.
Seva Ram Rathore, Udey Singh Pathania, Manjit Singh, Arvind Kumar, Dalip Singh, Jatwant Singh, Veerji Koul and many others were part of the deputation.
