SAMBA May 18: An Army Jawan was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Sunday at Border Outpost Saroj in Samba district today.
According to information received, Naik Sampangi Nagaraju , 28, a resident of Narsampet in Warangal district of Telangana was seriously injured by a bullet and died on the spot.
The Jaawan belonged to three Madras Unit of the 168 Brigade of Samba and was posted at the Border Outpost Saroj of the 125 Battalion with the BSF on the border.
Samba police reached the spot and kept the body in the mortuary of District Hospital Samba for post mortem.
In this regard the police has taken the cognisance of the matter and started investigation.
