SRINAGAR, Mar 5 : A soldier died of firearm injuries sustained from his service rifle at a forward post in Kamalkote sector of Baramulla district today.
An official said that Naik B T Rao, 25, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, died due to the bullet fired from the service rifle of the deceased. He said the exact circumstances of his death were being ascertained.
The official said prima facie it appeared to be a case of death by suicide.
