Snow in Shimla, Kufri & Narkanda

SHIMLA, Mar 10 :  Shimla and nearby tourist spots Kufri, Narkanda and Chail today woke up to a white sheet of snow this morning.
The capital town recorded nearly seven to eight centimeters of snowfall last night.       A white canopy covered Mount Jakhu, Claston, Taradevi, Prospectus and Summer hill.       Historic Ridge, Mall road and all roofs in the capital town also turned white.       There are reports that tourist resorts Kufri Narkanda, Fagu, Mashobra and Chail also experienced another snowfall partly disrupting vehicular traffic in Hindustan Tibet Highway between Narkanda and  Kufri.       Night temperature plummeted below freezing point in the town and in minus in the tribal district.       Snowfall at Tourist resort Manali, Kufri and Narkanda would give flip to receding winter Tourist season.            Himachal Pradesh recorded 1.84 crore tourists this financial year, including nearly 54 lakh in Shimla districts alone.
