KATRA, Feb 1: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducted an online session on `Career Counselling and Opportunities After Graduation’.
The event was specifically designed for final-year undergraduate students, focusing on career options, higher education opportunities, competitive examinations, skill development, and emerging career pathways after graduation.
The session began with participant queries and progressed to discussions on key topics, including membership in professional bodies for lifelong learning and skills enhancement. Questions regarding scholarships for exams such as CAT, MAT, JEE, as well as inquiries about the academic infrastructure and environment at SMVDU were also addressed.
The panel of experts included Senior Professor Asok De, Professor V K Bhatt, Dr Arti (Head, SoB), Dr Safaq (Associate Dean), Dr Arif Billah Dar, Dr Rashi Taggar, and Dr Ketan Bhatt.
All queries were thoroughly addressed, and the committee resolved to organise an in-person meet at SMVDU to further acquaint prospective students with the university’s academic environment.
