DODA, July 7: Police here today rescued six bovines in Koti area and arrested a smuggler involved in the crime.
Official sources said that information was received from reliable sources at Police Station Doda that some unknown person was smuggling six bovines without any permission by foot in a cruel manner from Koti via Bagla Bharat towards Kashmir.
On this information a case in FIR number 162/2025 U/S 223 BNS, 11 PC Act was registered at Police Station Doda and cops led by SHO Doda, Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed conducted a raid and rescued six bovines and arrested the accused from the spot.
Investigation of the case was going on.
