JAMMU, Dec 17: Smile Suite Dental Clinic and Orthodontic Centre, Talab Tillo, organised a two-day free dental check-up and orthodontic awareness camp at JK Montessori School, Talab Tillo, Jammu, on December 16 and 17. The camp aimed to promote oral hygiene and awareness about braces among students.
The initiative benefited around 250-300 students from Classes 5 to 9. The camp was led by orthodontist Dr Tanika Gupta (BDS, MDS), along with Dr Niharika and Dr Himanshi. Each student underwent a thorough dental examination and received guidance on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Special emphasis was laid on orthodontic awareness, educating students and teachers about early signs requiring braces and available treatment options. Dr Tanika Gupta highlighted the importance of early detection of dental issues for effective treatment. The clinic reaffirmed its commitment to organising similar community outreach programmes in the future to promote healthy smiles.
