JAMMU, Apr 1: The J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra (SKK) distributed free text books, uniform and black shoes among students in the school premises, during a function held here today.
The books were distributed among Hearing Handicapped students, from nursery to tenth class.
Addressing during the event, the president, K B Jandial expressed profound gratitude to the donor Rohan Chopra for helping these Divyangjan who come from economically poor and lower middle class.
These text books and shoes were donated by Rohan Chopra of Billawar. He has been a regular donor to the Divyangjan and has promised to contribute more in near future.
General Secretary J K Vaid, treasurer M D Sharma and V K Padha, Principal Roshan Bhan and other staff members were also present during the function
The parents also thanked the donor and the authorities of the SKK for this noble gesture.
