SKJVST honours CTI Abdul Rashid for exemplary service in Railways

JAMMU, Jan 28: Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust (SKJVST) today organized a ceremony to honour Abdul Rashid, Chief Ticket Inspector (CTI), Northern Railway, Jammu Tawi, for his exemplary service, dedication to duty and honesty.
Chief guest of the programme, DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma, in his address, said that officers like Abdul Rashid are a source of inspiration for society. He stated that serving with honesty, discipline, and a spirit of public service in a vital department like the Railways is not easy, but Abdul Rashid has proved through his conduct and work ethic that sincere dedication earns respect in society.
Mahant Rohit Shastri, president of the Trust, said that the objective of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust is to recognize and encourage individuals who render outstanding services to society. He said that Abdul Rashid has not only upheld the dignity of his department during his service tenure but has also set an example of humanity through his sensitive and cooperative behaviour with the general public. Such personalities, he added, are true assets of society and deserve to be honoured.
After receiving the honour, Abdul Rashid said that the honour was a matter of pride for him and would inspire him to perform his duties with even greater honesty and dedication. He assured that he would continue to serve passengers sincerely and uphold the prestige of the Railways in the future. The programme witnessed the presence of Bhushan Jamwal and several other distinguished personalities from social, religious, and intellectual fields.
