Srinagar, July 4: The Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, today announced summer vacations for its faculty members in two phases, starting July 16.
According to a circular issued by the Director, SKIMS, the summer vacations for 2025 will be observed in two halves, the first from July 16 to July 29, and the second from August 1 to August 14.
“In this behalf all Heads of Departments are requested to furnish the names of faculty members who are desirous to avail 1st half / 2nd half of vacation,” it stated.
It has been ordered that 50 per cent of faculty staff has to be available in the Department for both the halves.
“Heads of departments must ensure that one amongst the senior faculty members remains available in the department during each half of vacation, wherever possible.”
