Six vehicles seized for illegal mining in Kathua

KATHUA, Mar 7: Six vehicles were seized for their involvement in illegal mining in Kathua district.
A police official said that during routine checking on March 6, a team of Police Station Rajbagh seized 5 dumpers and one excavator indulged in illegal mining at Korepunnu area.
Post seizure, he said the vehicles were handed over to the Geology and Mining Department for further action.
