SAMBA, May 24: Police in Samba district today seized six vehicles for their alleged involvement in illegal mining.
Police teams headed by SHOs of Vijaypur and Bari Brahamana Police Stations besides incharge Police Post of Supwal Police Post under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas seized six vehicles, including three dumpers, during routine patrolling in their jurisdictional areas, a police official said.
Post seizure, these vehicles were handed over to the Geology and Mining Department Samba for further legal action.
