JAMMU, June 20: Six persons were injured today in separate road accidents in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, today at about 3.45 pm, a car bearing registration number PB06M-5006 collided with a scooty (registration no JK02DL-0799) at Karangi in Akhnoor area resulting into injuries to three persons.
The injured were identified as Sukhvinder Singh (30) son of Shamsher Singh, resident of Bale da Bagh, Surinder Kumar (29) son of Balkari Lal resident of Jadh and Sanjeev (28) son of Puran Chand, resident of Devipur.
Two girls namely Danu Sharma (15) daughter of Som Nath, resident of Bullachak and Vishali Sharma (17) daughter of Mohinder Pal, resident of Talab Tillo, were injured in the collision of a scooty and bike at Bohri Chowk.
A youth identified as Romesh Kumar (26) son of Shanker, resident of Anand Nagar (Bohri) got injured when a bike on which he was travelling, was hit by a speeding Santro car at Udeywala.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The concerned police had taken cognizance in all the cases.
