UDHAMPUR, July 3: Six persons of two families were injured when their cars collided on National Highway near Thard, about 10 kilometres from Udhampur town, here today.
The injured were identified as Sanjay Kumar of Batote, his father Suram Chand, wife Urmila Devi and 6- year old son Harpreet besides Parshotam Kumar son of Moti Lal and his wife Swarna Devi of Jagti Jammu.
The accident took place when the car bearing registration number JK14-1873 collided with Maruti car JK02AR-1408 on National Highway at Thard around 4:30 pm. Police shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur and their condition was stated to be stable.
