JAMMU, Nov 24: Six persons including three children were injured when a car turned turtle in Janipur area of city outskirts.
According to the reports, a Maruti car tonight hit the divider of road and turned turtle at Janipur near Power House. In the mishap, six persons including three children, two ladies and a man travelling in the car got injured.
The passersby immediately came for the rescue of the injured and shifted them to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
According to the eye witnesses, the mishap occurred at about 10.20 PM when the driver of the car could not see the divider, which had no reflectors. They said everyday three to four accidents occur on Janipur Road due to absence of reflectors on the road divider, but the concerned authorities are sleeping over the issue and waiting for a major mishap to happen.
