JAMMU, Sept 28: Six persons were injured today when an Eeco car overturned in Sainik Colony area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, an Eeco car (bearing registration number JK19-8304) being driven in a rash and negligent manner from Narwal to Kunjwani by an unknown driver rammed into divider of the highway before overturning. He said the mishap occurred this morning at about 6 O’clock and six passengers travelling in the car received injuries in the accident.
He said that all the injured persons namely Sajad Ahmed (33) son of Nizam Din, Didu Ram (35) son of Sham Lal, Ramesh (25) son of Dhani Ram, Chain Singh (40), Jasveer Singh (30) son of Gyan Singh and Dhani Ram (60) son of Jagat Ram, all residents of Ramban, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
In this connection, a case was registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
