JAMMU, July 27: Government of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has awarded Jammu and Kashmir Police Medal for meritorious services to six police personnel on the occasion of Republic Day.

As per the order issued by Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, sanction has been awarded to the award of J&K Police Medical for Meritorious Service to Alok Kumar (ADG), Vivek Gupta (IG), Tejinder Singh (DIG), Sandeep Wazir (SSP), Siraj-ud-Din Shah (DySP-M) and Kriti (Follower).
