Sisodia trains his guns on Abdullahs, Muftis, asks people to rise against corrupt rulers

JAMMU, Oct 21: Training his guns on Abdullah and Mufti dynasties, Manish Sisodia, a prominent member of team Arvind Kejriwal & active member of India Against Corruption (IAC) today urged the people to rise against the corrupt rulers both at Centre and in the State who are mainly responsible for the miseries and agony of masses.
Talking to reporters this afternoon at the sidelights of an interaction meet organised by IAC at Press Club here, Mr Sisodia said out on 28 dynasties ruling the country the Abdullah and Mufti families also among them.
He said the IAC activists have to go amid people to mobilize public opinion against the rising corruption the root cause of which are some politicians and bureaucrats.
Accusing the politicians and bureaucrats of looting the nation jointly, he said the duo have a nexus which is to be unmasked.
Mr Sisodia, while stressing on strengthening of the Gram Sabhas and Mohalla Committees, alleged that those in power have no faith in democracy and democratic institutions.
Explaining this during the interactive session with the members of civil society later he sighted the example that how the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supported the BJP national president, Nitin Gadkari in Maharashtra. This indicates that the politicians have a nexus and they watch each others interests, he added.
Stressing on bringing of Jan Lok Pal Bill to eradicate corruption from public life, Sisodia said a basic revolution should to take place at grass root level and IAC has to struggle for the same. He said the strong Gram and Mohalla Sabhas can perform a great role in strengthening the democratic institutions in the country and they in turn will decide who is to be elected for the legislative bodies to rid people from politics of deceit.
Alleging that all political parties including NC, Congress, PDP and BJP are two faces of the same coin, he said they are not interested in the welfare of common man.
He stressed on enactment of such laws which can benefit the common man and maintained that the politicians of the country should be like a common man and they in no way should look superior than him.
Sisodia, who alleged that the position of common man has deteriorated day by day, said that the politicians and bureaucrats are amassing wealth and they are not bothered for the woes of the masses.
He said the country is witnessing the dynastic rule right from independence and this trend has to be changed.
Earlier the members of civil society posed questions on various issues to IAC activist and he replied them one by one. In response to a question on Prashant Bushan’s remarks on Kashmir issue he said these are his personnel views and not that of the organization.
