JAMMU, Nov 26: During an award ceremony at Indo-UK Global Business Conclave held at The House of Commons, London (UK), Stephens International Public School (SIPS) was awarded prestigious Breaking Barriers for Girls’ Education award.
Kunal Saini, Trustee of the School received the award on behalf of the School Management.
The award was presented by the Democrat Politician and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Navnit Dhalokia in recognition for exemplary efforts of the School in promoting equal access to education for girls and fostering gender equality in academic sphere.
The School was lauded for its tireless efforts in implementing ground-breaking initiatives that have transformed the educational landscape for girls for more than a decade.
Under the pivotal leadership of the Chairman, Dr Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.) and Director, Satvinder Saini, SIPS has introduced scholarship programmes, gender-sensitive teaching methodologies and community outreach campaigns to tackle barriers such as financial constraints, societal biases and infrastructure challenges in the suburban vicinity, especially near border areas of Jammu.
