Singh takes stock of problems in Nagrota constituency

NAGROTA, Sept 13:  Thakur Shiv Dev Singh, Ex-MLA and member AICC undertook tour of several villages of Nagrota constituency and took stock of the problems of people due to recent rains and flood.
He visited villages Toote-de-Khui, Majeen, Aitham, Surisar, Madga, Sagoon, Badsoo, Kapota, Jakheri, Korga, Patyari and Nadore  areas and took stock of the loss suffered by the inhabitants as well as the Government infrastructure such as electric transformers, electric poles, roads and bridges.
He said that the  electric power supply has been disrupted in several villages due to feeder damage of 11 KVA Line and it will not be possible till the Feeder is replaced or repaired, many houses have been washed away in the flood and the farmers  have also suffered huge loss of their crops and cattle.
Thakur Shiv Dev Singh appreciated the work of PWD and said that due to prompt action of PWD authorities, all the roads and link roads  in these areas have been opened for traffic. He urged upon the PDD and PHE authorities  to immediately restore electricity and drinking water supply in these villages.
He was accompanied by Romal Singh vice president BCC Dansal, Balbir Singh, Puran Sharma and Mangal Singh.
