Singh CC beats Akhnoor Royals by 6 wkts

JAMMU, Jan 1: Singh Cricket Club (Singh CC) Under-19 team trounced Akhnoor Royals by 6 wickets and lead the series by 1-0 in the ongoing Under-19 T20 Five Matches Series, being played at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, here today.
Akhnoor Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Akhnoor Royals scored 105 by losing all wickets in 16.5 overs, wherein Shubam made 30 runs, while Sayam and Manik contributed 23 and 14 runs respectively to the total. From the bowling side, Raghav Verma got 4 wickets, while Komal Rajput took 3 wickets and Manav Mehta and Vikas Sharma shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Singh CC chased the target by losing only 4 wickets in 13.5 overs and registered 6 wickets win over the opponents, wherein Stiphen Sotra scored 40 runs, while Manav Mehta made unbeaten 31 runs. From the bowling side, Manik Sharma got 2 wickets, while Shubam and Krishna shared 1 wicket each.
Raghav Verma was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
The series is being organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh (President Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor).
