JAMMU, July 22: Simran Singh Wazir won the title of ‘Mirchi Quarantine Queen 2020’, a Jammu’s first ever digital pageant, sponsored by Page 3 Salon, Cafe and Lounge, co-sponsored by Mulkh Raj Ashok Kumar Jewellers for Jammu based ladies.
The styling partners of the pageant was Studio JW’s and gifting partner was Best Buy Computers.
The pageant consisted of three rounds. In the first round, the entries of the participants were invited on social media wherein they (participant) sent out their pictures.
In the talent round, the selected contestants were required to make a one-minute video of themselves portraying their talent. Females from all over the city participated in the pageant, with full enthusiasm and displayed a variety of skills.The round three of the pageant was an interview round wherein five participants shortlisted namely Simran Singh Wazir, Jasleen Kour, Sonali Jamwal, Mohini Gupta, and Ferry Sachdev for the title.
All the finalists were asked a few questions and the answers were judged by celebrity judge of the pageant, ‘Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hain’ fame, Saumya Tandon.
Simran Singh Wazir, a journalism student finally won the pageant and become the first ‘Quarantine Queen’ of Jammu. She won an LED TV along with others consolation gifts.
Saumya Tandon congratulated all the finalists and lauded the team of 98.3 Mirchi for its efforts in making the digital pageant, a success.
