Salal Power Station constructs School’s boundary wall under CSR

JAMMU, July 22: Salal Power Station constructed boundary wall of Government Middle School, Bakkal under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and handed over to village administration in a function, organised under the leadership of N Ram, In-charge General Manager of the Salal Station.
The function was inaugurated by Ashok Singh Thakur, chairman of Block Development Council, Bhomag. On this occasion, Sarpanch,Onkar Singh, Panch, Lumberdar, Principal of the School and other dignitaries as well as officials of the Salal including Shivani Bisht, Senior Manager (HR) and Rajesh Kumar, Senior Manager (Civil) were also present.
Senior Manager (HR) informed that many other works were also going on under the CSR under the efficient leadership of the General Manage in which development of rural areas, medical, sanitation, development of rural culture and education were at the priority.
Chairman of BDC, Bhomag appreciated the Salal management for constructing the school boundary wall. “The school was built in the year 1972 but since then there was no boundary wall due to which many accidents had occurred and students used to feel insecure and unsafe and this noble help of NHPC will definitely bring the conducive and fear free environment to the students of the School”, he said.
The event was organised by maintaining social distancing, and all other guidelines related to prevention of Coronavirus.
