JAMMU, July 2: Two real brothers were arrested with 23 grams of heroin-like-substance from Narwal area here today. A load carrier they were travelling was also been seized.
During routine patrolling duties near Railway Pulli, Narwal, a party of police post Narwal intercepted a suspected load carrier for checking, a police official said.
He said, on search of the driver of the vehicle and his aide, who later turned out to be siblings, identified as Mohammad Arif and Nahid Choudhary, both residents of Rajouri, 23 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered from their possession.
Accordingly, he said, they were booked in case FIR number 206/2025 under sections 8/21/22/25 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up.
