RAJOURI, Feb 14: A Police Sub Inspector, an SPO and his mother were injured after they were attacked by some people at a village in Darhal area of district Rajouri this afternoon.
Reports said SI Navneet, SPO Mohd Farooq from Darhal Police Station had gone for investigation in a case under Section 353/294 RPC at village Hajan Kassian near Badoon today. The police men were attacked by Zia-ul-Haq and Intekhab Mirza, sons of Mohd Aslam and five other persons. SPOs mother Shafayat Begum who tried to save them was also injured in the attack. The injured were later admitted to Darhal hospital and later referred to Rajouri hospital.
The police registered an FIR against seven persons including three bothers. It has started conducting raids to nab the attackers.
