JAMMU, Oct 6: 29th IAP Quiz for undergraduates was organised by the Department of Pediatrics ASCOMS and Hospital in the college auditorium today.
The scientific activity attended by faculty members, residents and students, was organised by Dr Ravinder K Gupta, Prof and Head Department of Pediatrics. It is pertinent to mention that ASCOMS College has been selected as centre to conduct Zonal Round of IAP QUIZ for undergraduates by the Central IAP.
Dr Ravinder K Gupta has been nominated as Zonal Coordinator to conduct the scientific activity.
The zonal round will be held in the first week of November. Four teams all from the final year MBBS participated in the quiz and after a tough fight for 9 rounds, Team D comprising of Shubhranshu Choudhary and Amit Anand turned out to be winners.
Dr Nira, Dr Vikas Mahajan, Dr Prenika and Dr Vikas Sharma assisted Dr Ravinder in smooth conduct of the Quiz.
Dr Pavan Malhotra, Director Principal was the guest on the occasion, who gave prizes to the participants. The winners have qualified for Divisional Round.
