KATRA, Jan 30: In a tragic road accident, an Ex-Army man and Athletics Coach with the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Rishi Kumar Nagar, lost his life on the Katra Domail road near Nomain, here today.
Reports said that Rishi Kumar Nagar was riding a motorcycle when a car bearing registration number JK02DG-3233 hit his bike, resulting in critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to Community Health Centre (CHC) Katra, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was posted as an Athletics Coach at the Sports Stadium, Katra, and was well known for his dedication to training young athletes.
Katra Police reached the spot soon after the incident and initiated an investigation into the matter.
