SAMBA, May 27: The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu, organised an informative and interactive Career Counselling Session in collaboration with the Guidance and Counselling Cell, Gurha Slathia, for students of Classes 9th to 12th. The session aimed at helping students explore suitable career opportunities and make informed academic and professional choices for their future.
The programme was conducted by Dushyant Singh, Career Counselling Officer, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Samba. During the session, he shared valuable insights into various career options, emerging fields, skill development, and the importance of proper planning in achieving career goals. His engaging interaction encouraged students to actively participate and seek guidance on different professional pathways.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Shivani Vaid Sharma, Headmistress, The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu, who stressed the importance of career awareness among students and appreciated the collaborative initiative undertaken for their benefit.
The session was held in the presence of Sonika Mahajan, Principal; Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman; and Rajni Gupta, Director. Students enthusiastically interacted with the resource person and clarified several career-related queries.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Munmun Kohli, Academic Head, who expressed gratitude to the guest speaker and organisers for conducting the valuable session and motivating students towards better career planning.
