REASI, Nov 15: In an apparent case of suicide, a shopkeeper was found hanging in the godown of his shop near TSO building at main bazaar, Pouni.
The deceased was identified as Balbir Chand, age about 39 yrs, son of Avtar Chand, resident of Puria, Tehsil Pouni in district Reasi. He was found hanging from ceiling fan in the godown, this morning.
On being informed, a Police team from Pouni Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause of apparent suicide could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
