UDHAMPUR, June 7: In an apparent case of suicide, a shopkeeper was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house at Ward number 2, Adarsh Colony Udhampur.
According to the police report, Bharat Lal (55), son of Jagannath of Ward Number 2 Adarsh Colony Udhampur, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police that rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
The deceased was running a shop and cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained. Udhampur Police has registered the case and started further investigation.
